Facilitators are desperately trying to synthesise ALL the information being gathered and discussed.
They will regularly present this back to the citizens to ensure it’s to their satisfaction.
Facilitators are critical here: they’re keeping people focused on the issue and preventing deep dives into rabbit holes
Citizens will agree, disagree and add more to one another’s thinking
Discussion might start in pairs…

…and a table spokesperson will report their thoughts back to the wider crowd
